Holly Graduates with a Masters in Biblical & Theological Studies
After two years of study at Phoenix Seminary, Holly has graduated! She is taking one final ethics course this summer but got to walk and get her diploma this May. Her highlight was taking three classes with Dr. Wayne Grudem (pictured with her on the left). He is one of her heroes of the faith when it comes to theology and ethics. To be under his teaching was a lifetime honor and experience. Her next steps will be to take a Sabbatical from August through October to edit and re-print her first book, “Follow My Lead: Responding to God’s Voice in Everyday Encounters” because we are literally out of copies! She will then look within the Cru organization for her next role to best serve her passions of teaching, writing, and coaching others as she seeks to find a new position within Cru that will continue to reach others with the gospel. Please pray for wisdom and direction during this time.
Sydney Gets Baptized and Heads to Summer Mission
Sydney, who came to Christ with Holly in February, shared her testimony and got baptized on the last Sunday of May. She is heading out on her first mission trip on June 16th with Cru. She’s excited to head to ASU next semester to learn how to do ministry on campus. She believes she is being called into vocational ministry as a missionary on staff with Cru. Time will tell, but let us pray for her as she steps out in faith this summer and goes and makes disciples! Check out Sydney’s testimony below.
