Two Mothers, Two Changed Lives

The day before Mother’s Day, Holly had the opportunity to speak at Crossroads Church in Temecula, CA for a women’s luncheon. Matt’s mother, Pam, invited her neighbor, Jill, since she has been asking questions about God.
Holly’s message was about the mother Mary, and how her life was changed by Jesus, not because she was His mother, but because He died for her sins so that she could be with Him for all eternity. After she sat back down, next to Jill, she felt the Spirit wanted her to share the gospel in more detail since Jill was from a Catholic background and already knew about Jesus, but may not have a personal relationship with Him.
Holly asked permission to share the “Knowing God personally” booklet with her, and Jill said sure. As they went through the gospel, it became clear to Jill that she had never invited Jesus into her life as Lord and Savior. With tears streaming down her face, Jill prayed to receive Christ. Pam came over and was able to pray a prayer of thanksgiving over her and will now be discipling her weekly in her new found faith. Please pray for Jill and Pam as they meet.

Matt’s Bible Study

I found this Bible study a great way to learn more about God and get a better understanding of who He is in our discussions. Outside of Bible study, I really liked having scheduled times to meet with the guys individually and have their support, love & accountability. -Nick J

Summer Plans
We have two incredible opportunities this summer…training students and going to seminary.
We were asked to go to Boston at the end of May for 5 days to train students at MIT and Harvard about how to walk in the Spirit, share their faith and live with a kingdom mindset. Holly has spoken there 2 times already and we are excited to keep this training going to some of the most influential future leaders of our country. For the flights, hotel and meals, our trip will cost $3,000. We then will be gathering up our entire family to spend the summer (33 days) in Orlando for seminary classes for both of us. To fly, rent a car, take a semester of seminary classes, rent housing and pay for our meals, we need to raise $7,700. That’s a total of $10,700 we are trusting God to raise above our monthly support for our summer. We will be gone for 38 days this summer. Would you prayerfully consider giving a special gift of $100 or $200 toward our needs or giving towards 1-7 days of our trip by June 15th?
