Training Students from MIT & Boston University
Right after her seminary exams and before her summer classes began, Holly flew to the east coast to teach students on the Echo Summer Mission about what the Bible says about God’s Will. In a nutshell: God’s will is for us to be Spirit-filled so that we grow in our sanctification and become effective sent ones.
These students are from some of the most prestigious schools on the west coast. Their minds may get them far in the world, but their relationship with Jesus is what is going to change lives for eternity! They now understand that God doesn’t care so much about what their vocation will be but that they love the people around them enough to share with them Jesus.
Cru22 & Speaking to JESUS Film Staff
Matt and Holly will fly to Milwaukee for the bi-annual Cru Staff Conference from July 15th to July 23rd. Due to COVID, we have not gathered for three years. So much has happened within our country and our organization, and this is a necessary time for us to gather to hear from our leaders about the future direction of Cru and how we can best lead in evangelism and discipleship in light of all that our country has walked through. We have had many virtual gatherings over the past three years, but it is important for us to gather together physically to pray and fellowship.
Holly was asked to be one of the main speakers for the Jesus Film Staff Connection time alongside the Vice President of the Jesus Film. She will be speaking on what can happen when we are servants filled with the Holy Spirit, like in the book of Acts. Please pray for her as she speaks to an audience that goes into the jungles to share the JesusFilm with tribes that have never heard the gospel.
This conference is a significant financial investment for us, and we would like to ask if you would come alongside us financially as well as prayerfully as we seek the Lord together and as Holly speaks to staff while we are gathered.
