CHANGED LIVES
At our Cru Winter Conference, we saw 62 lives changed with the gospel! One was Abby, who is hugging her friend Jessica. They approached Holly during the worship time. Abby is from Chico State and was so angry at herself and God, but she wants to take the leap of faith to trust and follow Him. Please pray that Abby experiences her new freedom in Christ as Jessica begins to disciple her. Holly will coach Jessica how to do this from AZ.
We had 700 students from all over the West Coast come together to learn about the “good news”. (Check out the AZ student’s pic with U of A, ASU and GCC). We had 6 students attend from Glendale Community College and 3 of them are now considering vocational ministry! They are on fire to come back to campus and truly launch a Cru ministry. This month, we will start the evangelistic course called Alpha on both GCC campuses. Please pray that seekers will join us and that many students will come to know Jesus and put their faith in Him. Pray as we disciple our key volunteers that they too will begin discipling others.
Just before we headed to Winter Conference, our student Vincenzo told us that he and his ex-wife were going to get re-married! When we met Vin in August, he was devastated that he was going through a divorce at 29 and with a 5 year old daughter. We prayed for them even as the divorce papers were finalized. Right after Christmas, his ex-wife, Brea, said that she’s seen such a change in him and his walk with God that she was ready to get re-married! Now Brea and Vin will be in discipleship as well as mentored by Holly’s co-leader, Christine and her husband, Frank. Pray that they rebuild on a firm foundation of God and His Word.

PERSONAL UPDATE & PRAYER REQUESTS
We will be visiting Cypress Church in Cypress, CA if anyone would like to come visit with us on February 9th. We will be there from 9am-1pm.
Please pray that lives will be changed through the Alpha courses that are starting on two campuses. Pray as Holly and 3 other GCC students prepare to go to Brazil March 6-15th to launch movements.
