Our Upcoming Adventure

Pregnant 14wks
Our Upcoming Adventure...we’re expecting!
Matt and I are happy to announce that baby Melton is coming this October! We found out on our 5 month anniversary that we were pregnant. The first trimester was especially challenging for Holly with nausea lasting most of each day. Due to her sickness, we had to cancel our ministry trip to Budapest, Hungary. It was a hard decision to stay home. The time of rest reminded Holly that her identity is not in how much she accomplishes for the Lord, but in who God made her to be, and right now, that’s accepting the process of all that occurs in becoming a mother. Apparently, growing a baby is hard work!
Thankfully, the second trimester has come with energy increasing and sickness decreasing. We are starting to feel even more excited about the changes ahead for us!
Please join us in praying for the baby’s continual health and development. We hope to find out the gender in the next month and will keep you posted.

Our Summer Assignment Ahead...June 9-July 23
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Every other summer is a time when all the staff in the United States gather in Ft. Collins, Colorado to gain vision and direction on where we are going as a ministry. Also, this summer, we will be taking four seminary classes to better equip ourselves for the ministry. Matt will be taking Intro to Christian Theology, Bible Study Methods, Apologetics, and Theology on Humanity, Christ and Salvation. Holly will be taking Christian World View, Old Testament Survey, and join Matt for Apologetics, and Theology on Humanity, Christ and Salvation. It is nice to set aside a summer where we can grow and develop ourselves as leaders and ministers of the gospel.
In order for us to afford the travel, housing, seminary classes, and the conference fee, we will need to raise $5,000 in special gifts. Would you prayerfully consider giving a tax-deductible gift of $500, $250, $100 or some other amount the Lord places on your heart? We want to be good stewards of what He’s called us to, and being equipped is part of how we can do that. Thank you for considering partnering with us as we continue to become more like Jesus and share Him with others.

Blessings,
Matt, Holly & Baby Melton
